June is my favorite month because of the MMVA’s. Last year it was fun, but none of my favorite artists were there, although I must say, I don’t really have any favorite artists, all my idols are dead, and the ones alive are pretty meh. Buuuut, I love Gaga, I’m very much in love with her, I think she is very talented and everything she does I applaud. I was very excited when I heard that she was going to be performing this year. I can't to see her. She is fantastic.

I see this collection everywhere in my dashboard! I am dying of jealousy! I get my paycheck this friday, and to be honest I don't want to blow everything in cosmetics, but this new collection makes me drool BADLY. Ok being honest, almost every MAC collection makes me drool aha. The colors are beautiful, I'm dying to get the bronzer, it seems to be fantastic. I don't wear much eyeshadow, but there are three colors in this collection that seem lovely. My favorites are the short shorts and the sun blonde. Not to mention the powerpoint eye pencil... Seriously, I must get some of these items!

Skin care products

Many people asked me about my skincare products, so I decided to make this little post. During my teenage years I had a bit of acne, as everybody else I guess, but nothing major. Past my 15 I had rarely breakouts. I'm 20 now, and it has been good so far, I don't have any kind of skin condition which makes it a lot easier for me. These are some products that I use, but there's nothing magical about them if you have acne or something similar this might not work for you. It all depends on what type of skin you have. So here we go...

1 - Nivea visage, gentle toner. I use it as a daily cleanser, it removes make-up, and refines pores. It's really great. If you're looking for a moisturizer/make-up remover/toner this is perfect.

2 - St. Ives, apricot scrub. I use it as to exfoliate my skin, as shown in picture no.2 it has those little dots which are corn kernel mean and walnuts. This product is really good as well, and it's super cheap, you can find it at wal-mart for 3.29$ or so.

3 - Vitamin E hydrating toner and cream cleanser from The Body Shop. This is actually new, I just recently bought it, and I bought the small package just to try it. It also removes make-up and functions as a moisturizer.

4 - Garnier skin naturals, invigorating toner. Now this one I have been using it for quite a while, it's actually one of the first moisturizers I ever used, it does the job as a cleanser and I don't really ask for more.

5 - Mango body scrub from The Body Shop. By now you most probably have guessed that I'm a sucker of TBS, it's true, I'm totally guilty, it's my obsession. But seriously girls, who doesn't love all the goodies they have in store? It's amazing! My favorite product is probably this one, I love it, it's just perfect. It smells delicious, it exfoliates like crazy and the jar is super cute. Oh, and if you don't like mango, you can get it in any other of the many fruits/scent they carry. The strawberry one is to die for!

6 - Estée Lauder, gentle eye makeup remover. I initially got this for my mom, but after I few daily uses I bought it for myself. I wear a lot of mascara and I use false eye-lashes almost 4 times a week, so I need a good makeup remover to get off all the glue and whatnot.

In conclusion, these are the cleansers/moisturizers/body scrubs that I use daily and/or most of the time. If you have any more questions regarding this post or any other post for that matter, feel free to leave me a comment :)

A little shopping spree

I'm having a terrible day, things aren't going according to plan, it's not like I have any plans really, but it's just been a difficult day. Usually, going shopping cheers me up, but at this point, not even spending 10,000$ would make me feel better. I'll try to put myself in a better mood though. Perhaps I will watch some nice movies, and pamper myself. I will finish cleaning my room, and I will take organize my closet. Summer is finally getting here, I'm a bit excited about that. Here are the latest goodies that I've bought :)


By the way the erase paste is fantastic, I totally recommend it, I might do a special post just to talk about its magnificence.

new pair of shorts

I went shopping with my sister, two days ago. I wasn't feeling like spending lots of money, but when I saw these I had to buy them. They fit perfectly, and they're exactly what I've been looking for. I will be traveling this summer, and I wanted a nice pair of shorts, and well, seems like I found it :) I also got these cute owl earrings.

At first, I wasn't so sure about creating a blogspot. My problem isn't really blogging, my issue is finding url's and names. It took me more than two days to make up my mind. I wanted something nice, something fancy. Pearls. And what? And lace? Sure, I like lace, it's delicate and sophisticated. But no, it seems off... Pearls and tea? Nah, I'm not a big fan of tea... Pearls and... birds? Perhaps? Yeah. I like birds, trapped and free, all at once. Prisoners of the sky. A bit like me, infatuated with wanderlust yet forced to live in a cage day to day. Ironic because, I own the key to my cage, I wonder if I will dare to open it some day soon. Oh well, enough with the daydreaming phase, I decided not to add birds or anything like it to my url. I will just keep my usual name, just like in any other website that I've been on. Original? Ah, not really, but that will do for now...
